What's a credit?

Credits are charged per second of finished video, and the rate scales with both the quality tier and the resolution. Pick what fits each project. The table shows every rate we charge, and the generator shows the exact figure before you spend anything.

No. Each renewal resets your wallet to the plan amount, so unused credits, including any top-up credits bought during the month, do not carry into the next one. Without a subscription, trial and top-up credits stay on your account until you use them.
Credits are charged per second of finished video, and the rate scales with resolution: 480p costs 10 credits/sec, 720p costs 22 credits/sec, 1080p costs 37 credits/sec, and 1080p SR (super-resolution) costs 39 credits/sec. A typical 10-second 480p ad costs 100 credits ≈ $5.50 at the Starter rate.
It depends on the quality tier. Seedance 2.0 makes videos up to 15 seconds long at up to 1080p SR. Seedance 2.5 goes to 30 seconds but tops out at 720p. You pick the tier, length and resolution on the generation page, and the credit cost updates before you click generate.
Yes. Starter, Growth, and Scale are recurring monthly subscriptions. Each billing cycle refills your wallet to the plan amount. Unused credits from the previous month do not carry over, so after a quiet month the new one starts again at the plan amount. Cancel any time. You won't be charged again, and any credits left in your wallet stay there.
Top-up credits never expire on their own, which makes them ideal if you don't have a subscription. If you are on a subscription, your whole balance, including any unspent top-up credits, is reset to your plan's monthly amount at each renewal, so use top-ups within the current month. Monthly-plan credits are always scoped to the billing cycle.
There is no free version, but the one-time $3.99 Trial Pass gets you a real video before you commit. It covers one 480p video up to 15 seconds long, and Write with AI is included, so you can rewrite the brief until you like it. Trial videos carry a small watermark. Upgrade whenever you want HD and no watermark.
Use the pay-as-you-go top-up: pay any amount from $50 to $10,000 and get 22 credits per dollar. That sits between Growth (~20 cr/$) and Scale (~22 cr/$). No subscription, no recurring charge. Top-ups stack on top of any plan credits already in your balance.
Failed generations are automatically refunded to your credit balance. If a provider returns a broken or partial output, we review it and refund where appropriate.
Credits delivered for the current period are non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time and you will not be billed again. The credits you already received stay in your wallet until the month ends. After that the wallet simply stops refilling.
