What you can do with the videos you generate
A plain-language summary of the parts of our Terms of Service that matter when you put a generated video in front of customers. The Terms themselves are the binding document.
- You keep rights to your content
- You are the publisher
- Commercial use is expected
- Summary of /terms
Three things to know before you publish
- 01
Your content stays yours
You keep the rights to what you upload. You only give us a limited licence to process it so we can provide the service, for example to generate videos.
- 02
You are the publisher of outputs
We do not review, approve or legally clear generated videos. Publishing them, in paid ads or anywhere else, is your decision and your responsibility.
- 03
Consent and labelling travel with the video
If a real person appears in what you upload, you need their consent for commercial AI use. Where the law requires a visible AI-generated label, that duty is yours.
Before you run a generated ad
- 1
Check your inputs
Make sure you own or hold the rights to every image you upload, and that anyone who can be identified, including you, has given the consent our Terms describe.
- 2
Check the platform’s rules
Ad networks have their own policies on synthetic media, health claims and before/after content. Compliance with those is on the publisher.
- 3
Label where required
We mark outputs as AI-generated where we are able to. Where a visible label is legally required on published content, add it.
The clauses that govern commercial use
- Content and ownership (Terms §4)
- You retain rights to your content; we get a limited licence to process it to provide the service; you are responsible for your content complying with the law and third-party rights.
- Your representations (Terms §4a)
- You warrant you have the rights to what you upload and every consent needed from anyone shown, which expressly covers generating, commercially using and publishing AI-generated videos.
- Outputs (Terms §4b)
- We make no representation that outputs will not infringe a third party’s rights; you assume that risk. Outputs are marked as AI-generated where we can. Model refusals are refunded.
- Reporting and removal (Terms §4c)
- If a generated or shared video uses someone’s likeness without permission, we remove content and disable share links on credible notice.
- Acceptable use
- No real person’s image or voice without their permission for AI-generated video, and no content that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity or privacy rights.

Commercial rights: the details
Can I use generated videos in paid ads?
Our Terms describe your use as including the generation, commercial use and publication of AI-generated outputs, and make you the publisher of what you generate. Paid advertising is exactly that kind of use, subject to the consent, legality and labelling responsibilities the Terms place on you.
Who owns the generated video?
You retain rights to your content, and we only take a limited licence to process it to provide the service. The Terms do not claim ownership of your outputs. For the precise wording, read section 4 of the Terms.
Do I need to say the video is AI-generated?
We mark outputs as AI-generated where we are able to. Where the law requires a visible label on published content (the Terms give EU rules on realistic synthetic media as an example), adding it is your job as the publisher.
What if I upload a photo of a real person?
You must hold every right, release and consent required from that person (or their guardian if under 18) for commercial AI-generated use, and that includes you. The upstream model may also refuse images with real faces; those renders are refunded.
Does AdVideoLab guarantee the output is non-infringing?
No. The Terms state we make no representation that outputs will not infringe third-party rights, and that you assume the risk of using them.
Is this page legal advice?
No. It is a summary of our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy in plain language. The Terms are the binding document; if anything here and the Terms differ, the Terms control.
